82 Graduates and Future Hospitality Leaders

Qualifications were awarded from Higher Diploma to Bachelors level, representing the successful achievement of up to three years of study in the field of Hospitality Management. It is a tribute to the success of the programmes at IHTTI that that 13 of 40 students receiving their Bachelor degree achieved a 1st Class Honours.

Students from 24 nationalities were represented at the graduation ceremony, which took place in the inspiring surrounds of the Neuchatel Castle, home to the cantons parliament. The ceremony, conducted before representatives of the Neuchatel Government and family and friends from around the world, was a fitting celebration of students achievements.

The following qualifications were awarded:

• 40 Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management (3 years)
• 42 Higher Diploma in Hospitality and Design Management (2 Years)

Mr Alain Barbal, Office de la Promotion Économique Neuchâtel, addressed the graduating students and thanked them for choosing to follow their studies in Neuchâtel. He continued saying, “We are proud to have IHTTI in Neuchâtel and the collaboration between the school and the canton is of great importance. IHTTI graduates are fine ambassadors for the city of Neuchâtel and Switzerland as a whole.”

Graduating students are well prepared for their future career in the international hospitality and tourism industry after completing studies, which combine both theoretical and practical classes. As a member of the Swiss Education Group, SEG, IHTTI graduates join an elite group of more than 20,000 alumni who can be found right around the world, spreading the renowned skills of a Swiss Hospitality education.
