An enchanting experience: Working in the magical world of Disney

2nd year SHMS student Elisa Zephir from Mauritius is discovering the precision and concentration required during her Housekeeping Management Traineeship at Disney Paris – Disneyland Hotel.

Elisa’s first internship was at the Mandarin Oriental Geneva in the Michelin star restaurant Rasoi. Now she’s in Paris! What is it like to work at Disney?
Every day at the magical world of Disney is different and I am finding it fascinating to discover a totally different department through this traineeship experience.

Who do you hope to learn from during your 6 months in Paris?
The housekeeping department is very team oriented and I am already happy with the support I have received from them. I am certain I will be learning as we grow as a team.

What are you looking forward to at the end of your internship?
I am looking forward to the adventures ahead and the memories that will stay with me. I know that this experience will not only help boost my CV but also help me as a professional.
