SHMS Graduate: Young Hotelier of the Year!

As the winner of the award, Jennifer was deemed to have shown a passion and drive in her career and a fresh perspective to hotel management. Jennifer, who graduated from SHMS in 2006, says, "You don’t need years and years. If you have new ideas, if you have new initiatives, it is all about the action and the creativity and just putting it into practice that will make it happen for them."

At just twenty-six years of age, Jennifer has already progressed through the ranks and is on the way to achieving her dream of becoming a General Manager. Her work has seen the Intercontinental Regency Bahrain achieve remarkable results, including its jump in ranking from number 13 to number one for the online guest satisfaction survey in India, Middle East and Africa.

The Hotelier Middle East Awards brought together more than six hundred industry professionals from across the region to celebrate their dedication and achievements. This is the 9th edition of the awards which are designed to recognize the wealth of talent working in the industry throughout the Middle East.
