Culinary Competition Finalists: Saveurotok

Marie-Laure Van Hove from IHTTI teamed up with her fellow student, Ryad Hafiz from César Ritz Colleges as finalists in the recent European Culinary Competition organised by the association 'Saveurotok'.

The pair placed a very credible 4th in the competition in which they were up against teams from culinary schools from France, Germany and Luxembourg. Based on the flavours from Bretagne the teams had to cook a meal using cauliflower, artichokes and abalone.

Judged by a panel which included several Michelin-starred chef’s, Marie-Laure and Ryad were particularly noted as they were the only finalists not from a culinary school.
