One such example is the Freddie For A Day initiative, where students work on the design through to the implementation and promotion of the event.

This annual initiative is a celebration of the life of Freddie Mercury. It brings people together to dress as the iconic singer of Queen to raise awareness and much needed funds to support the work of the Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity focusing on education and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Thanks to our students’ dedication, over the last 12 months they have successfully raised 66,751 Swiss Francs. César Ritz Le Bouveret recently held a Gala Dinner in honour of Anton Mosimann OBE. Stan Wawrinka, our Swiss Education Group Ambassador, took this opportunity to proudly present the cheque, alongside our students, to Claudia Beach (chief administrator), Jim Beach (co-founder & trustee) and Vicky Vocat (spokesperson).
