IHTTI School of Hotel Management Students Represented on Local Government

None more so than Sascha Haiss, second-year student and Public Relations Representative on the IHTTI Student Ambassador Forum and new member of the Parliament Jeunesse Neuchâtel (PJNE).

The PJNE was been established in 1992 as a consulting power representing the youth in the canton of Neuchâtel. Each year, around 60 representatives from all of the schools in the canton meet to work on projects to improve the life of students in Neuchâtel. The final project is presented to the director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism board of Neuchâtel and then achieved with funding from the canton.
Sascha explains that, "my role as Public relations ambassador is to establish and maintain the communication with both the community and the students of Neuchâtel, so joining their Parliament was the first step of involving our school in the decision making process of the Youth Parliament."
