Students Triumph at Wine Competition: SHMS Nose Its Wine

Hosted at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne on Saturday, March 28^th, 2015, our students competed against hospitality students from around the world to win the coveted title.

Millésime is an event that aims to bring together wine enthusiasts among universities and professionals. It is an opportunity to challenge each other’s knowledge and network and exchange expertise with wine professionals, young consumers and future managers.

The winning team from SHMS Leysin included Filipe Wang, Yu-Chieh (Elliott) Chen, Mikolaj Maklowicz, Xiangwei (William) Wu and YenYing (Andy) Chu. Each team member won a bottle of Chasselas from Château de Châtagneréaz 1er Grand Cru 2013, a bottle of Michel Reynier Champagne 1er cru brut and an exclusive visit to Château Margaux for a private tasting!
